Trick-or-treating will be held between the hours of 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Halloween, October 31, 2020

Please follow these guidelines for Trick-or-treating this year:

  • As a reminder, if you do not wish to give out treats, please turn off your outdoor lights;
  • Trick or Treaters, please respect those who do not wish to give out treats and do not approach homes with their lights off;
  • Trick or Treat in family or close contact groups and keep these groups as small as possible;
  • Maintain social distancing of at least six feet of physical distance from all other Halloween trick or treating groups who are not members of the same household;
  • Have only one group at a time approach a house;
  • Consider creative ways to distribute the candy safely and avoid leaving a bowl of candy out for kids to reach into;
  • Wear face masks/face coverings - find a creative way to wear a mask or face covering that goes with the costume to make it fun;
  • Observe good hand hygiene, including washing hands frequently and using alcohol-based sanitizers;
  • Refrain from face touching;
  • Stay at home if you feel unwell and refrain from Halloween activities, such as handing out Halloween treats.
