Sandy Point and Salisbury Beaches are safe for swimming
The State has confirmed that water quality tests taken at Sandy Point on Plum Island and Salisbury Beach Reservation are safe for swimming.

The City of Haverhill has completed the installation of a sewer bypass line and the sewerage flow into the Merrimack River has ceased.
