Municipal Lien Certificate

We require an MLC for all closing and refinancing transactions. 

WE DO NOT GIVE VERBAL TAX INFORMATION TO 3RD PARTIES

To request a Municipal Lien Certificate the following information is require in writing to the Tax Collector:

  • Map & Parcel Number  
  • Name & Address of owner
  • Specify Sale – Refinance - Foreclosure
  • Self addressed stamped envelope 

Effective 7/1/2009 the fee schedule is per parcel:

  • $25.00 Standard Fee
  • $50.00 Farms, forest land & all other real property 
  • $100.00 Land with four or more family residence 
  • $150.00 Land with commercial, industrial or utility structures
